The Paper Players: PP399 - A Sketch Challenge

Hello Hello,

Here's hoping your summer is going well. Mine has been so busy. We have been sneaking in a few repairs around the house. My flower garden is beginning to bloom. Today we tackled our front door. I should say the door jam. I painted the door a few days ago, in-between thunderstorms storms. It's monsoon season in Colorado. So the storms do delay things at times.
So today after I cleaned up the trim for the door jam I decided to sneak in a new card. The Paper Players have a new Sketch for us to play with. I love a good sketch, and Sketch #PP399 is a good one.

So I started with Pacific Point Cardstock for the Card Base. The Card Front is Whisper White Cardstock that has been embossed with the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The  Rectangles are from the Garden Impressions 6"x6" Designer Series Paper. Matted onto more Pacific Point Cardstock. The Sentiment Circle is from the Stitched All Around Bundle (I Saved 10% by purchasing the bundle). I used Pacific Point Ink to stamp the Sentiment onto Whisper White Cardstock and then cut it out with the co-ordinating Die. That cute little Stitched Heart is cut with another Die from that bundle. The sentiment on the Inside Layer is from the Lots of Happy Card Kit. I just love that kit too. I finished off the card with a White Baker's Twine bow and some colored Rhinestones.

  1. I love the pop of Pacific Point on your card Jan - I think this is a really under-utilised colour (in my cardmaking at least!) and it is striking against those fabulous abstract florals and white elements. A lovely card! Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
