#TGIFC138 It's Time to be Inspired!

Happy Holidays,

The countdown is on. 9 days until Christmas. This weeks TGIF Challenge #138 is "It's Time to be Inspired!" Inspired by Christmas Carols. So now I am singing Christmas Carols in my head, in my shower, in the kitchen and at my desk. One of my favorite things about Stampin' Up! stamp sets is that I know that there will be a great focal image for the Card Front and the perfect sentiment to go with it on the Inside Layer. My choice was Good Tidings which must be based on God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.

Details:

Card Base - Old Olive Cardstock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".
Card Front - Whisper White Cardstock - 4" x 5 1/4"
Sentiment Layers - Scalloped Square Mat - Old Olive  - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4". Stitched Shape Square -            Whisper White - 2 5/8" x 2 5/8".
Inside Layer - Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4".
1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon - Berry Burst.
Glitter Enamel Dots

I stamped the Holly leaves 1st, using Old Olive Ink and the Holly detail stamp, then using the Holly background stamp and Pear Pizzazz Ink. Next I stamped the Berries with Berry Burst Ink, I chose to stamp only the detail berry stamp. Then the stems were stamped with Soft Suede. I stamped the Sentiment in Early Espresso Ink on the Stitched Shape Square.

Tie a bow around your fingers or a similar sized bottle or can. Cut the ribbon to fit the Card Front. Attach the ribbon to the Card Front with Glue Dots. Glue The Stitched Shape Square to the Old Olive Scalloped Square. Add Dimensionals to the back of the Scalloped Square in the corners. Attach to the Card Front. Attach the Card Front to the Card Base with Snail or Glue. Inside Layer - Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso Ink. Stamp the Smaller Holly Leaves on opposite corners, using the background stamp, in Old Olive Ink. Stamp the Berries using the Detail Stamp with Berry Burst. Glue the Inside Layer into place. The final touch is a few Glitter Enamel Dots.
