Pals Paper Arts - PPA284 Sketch Challenge

 Pals Paper Arts #284

Good Day Everyone,

Todays card comes from Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge #284. This card was a real challenge.
Nothing like an angled line to throw you for a loop. I finally decided to kind of leave it alone (after I got my Papers planned out) and come back to it later. It worked. I'm really happy with the results.

The base card is Blushing Bride, all the mats come from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper pack. The flowers and leaves are done on Watercolor Paper. Stamped in Basic Black and then inked with a watercolor pen. The inks are Watermelon Wonder and Old Olive. The sentiment is Stamped in Basic Black on Whisper White. The little bit of bling comes from some sticky Rhinestones I had on hand. The stamp set is from Stampin" Up! Birthday Blossoms.

Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs,
Jan

Number of Years Stamp Set

Hello all. Yesterday was my night out with the girls. We play Bunco, so much fun. Last month I won twice. the most Big Buncos as well as the last person to get a Big Bunco. For this month I needed a $10.00 gift. I decided on a gift certificate to the local Nail Salon in Evergreen. So of course I made a gift bag to put it in as well as a matching card. The gift bag and the card base are Old Olive Cardstock. The large mats are from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper and the die cut mats are from the in Color Designer Series Paper Stack. I used the pretty little flower stamps that came with the new Number of Years stamp set for my focal point. The "For You" stamp is from an old set Letterpress Winter. I thought it was a perfect complement to the flowers. Don't You? The Wink of Stella Clear pen I used on the flowers really did not show up in my photo but it sure added a little sparkle to them.

If you like my project please leave a comment. I love reading them. Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs,
Jan

MOJO Monday 429

Good evening,

Today's card is from a Stampin Up set, Birthday Blossoms. I'm a very big flower lover. Not only the ones I can grow, can't wait for spring, but any flowers created with paper. For this card I used the latest sketch from MOJO Monday #429.
The designer paper is from some very old 6x6 stack which is no longer together, unknown. The card base is Core'dinations Color Cardstock. Whisper White for the background. Olive Green 1" Grosgrain Ribbon trim. Spellbinders Circles and Lacy Circles dies. Inks are Tim Holtz Distress inks. Added a little bling from a craft show purchase to top it all off.
